Writing the final book in a 12-book series is more fun that should be legal. I’m tying off arcs while the ending I’ve known since the beginning dances across the keyboard as fast as I can type. When I get to type… It’s harvest season and that means, it’s canning, freezing, and dehydrating season—exactly what writing book #12 feels like: a good harvest!
WHAT’S NEWS?
Looks like I’m going to make the deadline for finishing The Admiral Inn series coinciding with the fictional Halloween Grand Reopening of June’s fully restored inn and Ramone’s restored hotel.
This event sees all 12 books finished with original covers for a short window of time before…drum roll…the entire series is rebadged with all new, hand crafted, torn paper covers I’ve been creating this year. I hope to bundle the series in time for the holiday series and maybe, just maybe, create a calendar. 12 covers…12 months… It just seems a natural fit.
For those of you who have my paperbacks, I wanted to give you the opportunity to complete your series in the same style before changing the look.
The original covers were also created by me using a drafting program but I wanted a new look for the Grand Reopening of the series as well. Some of you will have the “vintage” set.
