Another of the four pieces to emerge from Santa’s workshop this year is the “Log Book.” Cut from a single log, this project proved the most dangerous and while the smallest of our handmade gifts, it it took the longest to complete (as in I was sewing a tiny leather belt on Christmas Eve), and contained many more steps than the bench, the bowl, and the vase.

It went to a fantasy book lover’s shelf.
